Hi
I selected the simple header style and turned the transparent header on. That really works fine!
Using an rgb-code for the background colour also works, but not rgba! Do I have to do any other settings somewhere else to take effect?rgba should be “rgba(190, 143, 49, 0.3)” but actually its just showing “rgb(190, 143, 49)”.
You can have a look at our test-site at https://www.maxbrauerschule.de/mbs15/.
Thanks for your helpful thoughts on this topic.
Kind regards

Hello,
Please go to General Options > Header Options > Background. Select the color and transparency here. Click on the transparency bar to enable it. Screenshot.

Hi Mihaila
Thank you so much for your fast respond, but – that didn’t solved the problem.
Due to the fact there are a couple more problems like the missing of animation by “service small icons”, failures while trying to update the envato toolkit and to install “mail chimp” as well as problems with the transition-effects of “revolution slider” I will uninstall the theme and install it agin. Maybe this will help. All the problems appeared some two days ago. Before everything worked fine as it should?! I haven’t make any changes nor installed any new plugins, so I can’t find out what the reason may be. Hope that a new install of the theme will solve the problems.
Greetings

Hello,
having uninstalled and reinstalled the theme I still get the same problem. A change of the header-background-color (transparency, the colour itself) doesn’t show any effect – the transparency remains at “0.0”!
As said before this behaviour came all of a sudden some three days ago without any changes dependig plugins or css-files. I don’t get it.
Any help appreciated.
Best regards

Hello,
This is strange. I changed the header background transparency in the theme options, but it does not reflect the changes. This does not happen on our side, so i assume it maybe one of your other installed plugins that may be conflicting with the theme, or any other script you may have added. However, i added this code:
.sticky_header #header { background-color: rgba(247, 234, 210, 0.45) !important;} #header { background-color: rgba(247, 234, 210, 0.45) !important;}
into your custom css box. The first line is responsible for the sticky header transparency and the second line for the header in slider. Edit/remove the ones you do not want.
Let us know for anything.Best regards!

Hi
Thanks alot – that really did it, though I don’t have any idea what (plugin?) caused the error. I’m pretty sure that it’s not a third party plugin (’cause everything was fine for some four weeks and I didn’t installed any new plugins during these weeks) nor any other script because for now I’m not using any own scripts.
Anyway – now it works great. Thank you again for being so kind and helpful.
Best regards
