I just purchased Specular but the Single Image Element is missing. I contacted Visual Composer and they viewed my information and stated that the author I purchased the theme from removed this item using “vc_remove_element”. So my question is how do use my theme with this item eliminated, what’s the reason, and how can I activate this S

Yes, some Visual Composer elements have been removed and some have been altered to fit the theme’s style.
To activate it back, just go to file includes/core/codeless_elements.php, find this line: vc_remove_element("vc_single_image");
Edit to this: //vc_remove_element("vc_single_image");
Save changes. Go back to your Visual Composer elements, the element will be listed there.
OK and understood. In addition, based on those facts I just have a few follow up questions:
1. Was the Single Image Element code eliminated for a very specific reason?
2. Since the author altered and eliminated the Single Image Element code, what is supposed to be the intended alternate Image Widget that the author had in mind for the user?
3. If I implement your code adjustment which brings back the Single Image Element as you described, will that create a domino effect of issues affecting other parts of the program? If so, what will be affected?
1-The visual Composer elements are removed according to the theme layout and features.
2-As the equivalent of the “Single Image” element is used the “Media” element (screenshot).
3-No. there will be no effect. Most of the elements are independent of each other unless explicitly said the contrary.
