Mixed Content – Errors

      Hi,

I have created my site using the Tower template. I have been trying to get my site to be padlock secured. However when I test my website it points out the logo images in the header and footer to be errors.

I have tried replacing the files but I’m wondering if it’s something in the template that doesn’t allow this to work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

      Thanks

      :)

Hi, do you mean changing it to https (SSL) ?

You can do it it’s not a problem. Please change links manually if any file is pointing to the older HTTP link. Try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/velvet-blues-update-urls/

      Use it for link replace

      Thanks

Yes I want my site to be https but when I test it I get errors linking to the 2 logo files used in the header and footer of my template.

I’ve tried that plug in but it doesn’t make a difference. Is there anything else you can try?

      Thanks

Mixed content fixed. You just need to check the certificate now.

      Thanks

Please can you look at this asap as you currently can’t access my site as it redirects to a url with an ‘s’ in

This happens because you need to configure an ssl certificate.

Can you please give me a cpanel account to fix it?

      Thanks

Or, you can do it yourself.

Open Phpmyadmin from Cpanel or any other control panel for your host. Go to wp_options table and find out options where your website link is listed with https instead of HTTP

Change them back to HTTP and it should work.

      Thanks
