Hi,
My website does not display correctly in mobile / responsive view and gives a poor user experience. It is also slow to load. Can you advise what I need to adjust on the theme to make my site load better please.
The website is: https://djmoysesurfacing.co.uk
Thanks,
Adrian.

Just noticed the post actually says ‘Expired’. I have just renewed support for another 6 months.

Hello,
To increase the site’s loading speed, please check out this article: https://codeless.co/how-i-increased-more-than-70-the-speed-of-my-website/
Please make sure to have the latest theme version as well as all the included plugins updated as well.PS: Do not worry about the support status. This is due to an internal server issue. We will fix it as soon as we can. In the mean time you will be getting all the support you need and payed for.
Best regards!

Thanks for your suggestions.
I’ve updated plugins and the Specular theme to current version (from v2.5.1 to v2.6.1) and the website loads a bit better in mobile view. However, the header logo is missing and the menu does not work. What should I adjust in your theme to get these working please?

Hello,
The logo is there but it’s too wide for the mobile screen dimension (screenshot). I suggest you set another logo for mobile only so it’s customized to that screen. or add this code into your Custom Css box:
@media (max-width:480px){ #logo img { margin-left: 60% !important; } .menu-small ul.menu > li > a { color: #5a5555 !important; }}
The menu as well is there, but the items are in white color. That’s why you do not see them. The css above will change it to dark gray so they will be visible again.
Change the color to your wish.Best regards!

Thanks for the code snippet. The logo is now visible but the menu is still hidden.

Hello,
The menu is there but the text color of it is white and that is why is still hiden. Somehow you forgot to add some of the css code we provided above. Please add the code below and let us know if it worked.
.menu-small ul.menu > li > a { color: #5a5555 !important; }
Best regards!

The above bit of code was already added but has made no change to the menu unfortunately.

Hello,
I checked again and the menu font color css is not present when inspecting page’s css. The margin for the logo is!
Can you please send us some valid wp credentials in a private reply? SO we can check it out and see what is going on.Thanks!

Hello,
The css was pasted with errors (syntax). I fixed it. Please refresh site and check again.
Let us know.Best regards!
-
Thank you for doing that. Out of interest, what were the syntax errors? When I got your email with the code to add I just copied and pasted so thought it would be ok like that. Would be handy to know what I did wrong.
-
Hello,
In this line:
.menu-small ul.menu > li > a
the signs: “>” where transformed to code. Like this: “>” So the result line pasted was like this:
“.menu-small ul.menu > li > a ”
This happens often with css code when you copy from one editor to another.
Best regards!
