Thanks for pointing the exact location, well if you activated child theme then I can make changes there so your changes will stay there even if you update your theme. Other wise you can user any translation plugin to change that text if you don’t want to play with files.

Then kindly note here is the file path for you to edit:
Specular > includes > view > blog > loop-index.php and one line 242 you will see something like show below:
<span><?php esc_html_e('Read More', 'specular') ?></span>

Make it like this:

<span><?php esc_html_e('Lire la suite', 'specular') ?></span>
Once changed save your file and that’s it.

If you are using child theme it will stay there even after theme update. You can also directly translate this but you preferred this so I am giving you that.
