$output .= '<p>'.codeless_text_limit(get_the_excerpt(), 25).'</p>';

The number 25,as many words there will be shown in excerpt. Edit it as you need.

I have similar query.

Made changes to above mentioned file and line to 250 words, but this will only show upto 55 words and not more. I have set the words limit 1500 but no gain.
