I think perhaps I may have a misunderstanding. I posted a comment on Themeforest after purchasing the theme about not liking it and regretting the purchase. So as I understand it, it is necessary to import one of the templates? Meaning I cant just build a site with your built in visualizer? Does this theme require Visual Composer be used as well? Within my WordPress instance, I had an existing theme that used visual composer so I just changed themes yet none of the visual composer designing was active in fact it showed it as if it did not support it. I also didn’t see the page editing options that were shown in the Documentation screenshots of your theme so I am doing a fresh installation just in case perhaps something didnt install properly.
Specular theme has plenty of pre-builded demos for your convenience. If you like of of them, you can spare time by importing the demo instead of putting all elements together.
This does not mean you can not build a site from scratch. A demo is a plus, but not a necessity.
The Visual Composer however is one of the most important plugins. It is necessary for you ti install it in order to use the theme. It is included in theme package and you only need to make a few clicks to install and activate it.
I don’t know what version of Visual Composer was previously installed on your server, but i recommend using the included in the theme version.
