My website (www.ohiotaxattorney.com) is a onepage site and the main menu in the header has anchor links. If you click on the menu and select one of the links, the menu doesn’t close automatically. You have to manually “x” out of the menu. How do I correct this?
The menu now closes, but it does not take the user to the anchor in the url . . . i.e. the URL’s in the menu anchor to the same page, only scroll the user down (i.e. https://www.ohiotaxattorney.com/#sec3)
It should scroll down to the anchor . . . my website is a one-page website. So, for example, if you go to https://www.ohiotaxattorney.com/#sec3 that link will take you down to the section that is tagged/anchored as “sec3” . . . the links in the menu should scroll down to the appropriate section anchor.
When I click on the menu, it doesn’t move down to the anchor. Example – go to the menu and click on “Who’s Josh” – – – it should go to this URL: https://www.ohiotaxattorney.com/#sec2 – which is just a just a section anchor on the homepage.
However, it does not do that. It stays at the top of the page when you click it.
Have you checked by removing your browser cache. As I have seen it working and it takes to the section scrolling. Kindly have a check by removing cache and let me know ?
I can see more than one section IDs assigned which may cause issues as only one ID is allowed per page to stay valid html. Kindly, make sure there is no duplicate page section ID being used in whole page and also make sure your menu having proper section ids assigned.
