Specular Theme – How do I overlay text and buttons over the header images? Is there a way to do this in the backend editor or do I need to do this outside of WP with Illustrator or something? I cant find a way to do it in the tools or the documentation. Thanks!

Can you please explain better what you need to achieve? You can edit text and buttons style via css too. Send us a screenshot so we can understand better.
