Hi!
I first downloaded Folie in January and everything worked fine as described in the documentation. However, just now several page editing options have stopped working properly so I’m not able to continue building the site.
Basically the issue is that some page editing options are not accessible anymore or there is no reaction when clicking on buttons. Just a couple of specific examples from the Codeless Page Builder just now:
– When I click on a new “Row”, the editor doesn’t leave the row I was originally working on so I can’t edit the new one.
– When working on the Codeless Slider in Page Builder – Row, it is not possible to navigate between the tabs General – Design – Animation – Responsive
– When editing the background position for the background image for the Codeless Slider, the whole option just disappears as soon as click on it.These are just some examples, problems like these keep appearing as I try to edit. Please help, as this is not workable. All my plugins and WordPress is up do date.

It looks very strange,
Make sure your theme, theme-required plugins, and WordPress version all are up-to-date. If all are up-to-date then for the time being you can use WP-Bakery Backend Page builder. It’s reliable and easy to use.
We’ll also test the Codeless page builder on different environments on our end and let you know about the root issue and its solution ASAP.Thanks,

Thank you for looking into this. Everything is up-to-date, so I can’t see this being the issue. And it seems that some Codeless parts are having issues in the WP Bakery builder as well.
For example, can you tell me where I can access the background image settings ( like background position etc.) for the Codeless Sliders? The option doesn’t appear when I click on the edit icon.
Also, when I click on “add element” in the WP Bakery builder and then on Codeless Slider, there is is no response.

Was there any solution here? I am having the same problem. Everything is up to date but neither Codeless Builder or WordPress Builder are working properly. On Codeless I can’t access the tabs like oknaupe said and clicking any dropdown menu makes it disappear. WP Bakery doesn’t save any changes I make and there are a number of other glitches making it impossible to make the most basic of changes.

Thank you for sending the video. Unfortunately, this did not help. There is a number of issues in the WP Bakery, For one, I can’t save any changes, same as mentioned by andrewoceansreed, so that makes any editing impossible already. Also, absolutely nothing happens when I click on “Add element” – “Codeless slider”.

Hi,
The issue is due to the PHP version
Things you need to do:
1- Contact your web hosting provider and ask them to at least fulfill the below server capabilities to the listed values
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 10002- Downgrade your PHP version from 8.0.15 to 7.4
Then check and let me know.

Thank you! This solved the issue with the activation of the theme, there are no more error messages then I implemented your settings as instructed except for max_execution_time, my provider says that = 60 is the maximum setting allowed by WP.
But the original problems are still there as decribed above, that is I can’t edit. When I try editing with the Codeless Builder the drop down disappears when I click on it, and in WP Bakery error messages appear as soon as I try adding an element.
You can now use the credential I sent to access the site and see Folie activated.

I’ve fixed the issue on your site. I’ve added the dummy content on the sample page using the Codeless Page Builder. Here’s the link: http://knaupe.net/sample-pageIn case you get into trouble again then, things you need to do:
1- Delete the Codeless Page Builder and Kirki Customizer Plugin from your site.
2- Download the Codeless Page Builder and Kirki Customizer Plugin from the below link

3- Install and activate the plugins manually.
4- Clear browser cache and hard refresh your site once.
5- Done.
