I’ve had a few issues with getting the template installed and running properly. Right now I’m trying to focus on eliminating the yellow errors from the System Status page. The last one that I can’t seem to get is the “PHP Time Limit” which says it’s zero despite me trying to set it otherwise in my PHP config and my wordpress config.
In my PHP config I can confirm that it’s working because when using phpinfo I can see that max_execution_time is set to 300.
In my wordpress wp-config.php I have “set_time_limit(300);” in there however I don’t see any change when I refresh after changing it.
Is there somewhere else I should be looking at changing it?
I spoke with support from my host regarding this at length and we were unable to resolve the issue as the PHP settings for max_execution_time are definitely correct on the server side.
The only thing that we found was that running the wp php-compat command on the server shows that the Folie theme is not compatible with PHP 7.2 which was what my server was set to use. We switched down to PHP 7, verified all of the variables in the PHP configuration file were the same, but the problem persists.
Folie is compatible with php 7.2 since version 2.4. The latest version is 2.5.4 (check change log here).
What type of server do you have? The nginx or iis server may not display the real time limit in System Status page. But this does not mean it will have any issue in theme functionality. Are you experiencing any problem beside this message?
This does not happen in Apache servers and we will update theme in future for these other server’s as well.
Sorry for the late reply, I was too busy with work during that period to deal with my personal site. Now I’ve got more free time so I can work on troubleshooting this issue.
The server is running Apache 2.2.22.
I am experiencing issues. For example when I use the Setup Wizard to do the 1-click theme setup and change between themes, the results are inconsistent and don’t actually look or function like the templates.
We can help you with that. By every import additional pages/post/menus are added to your site. The algorithm is designed to add, not delete your current pages. As for the theme settings, they are overwritten.
