I recently purchased a new Specular license and installed the theme for a client.
I am getting the following messages regarding two plugins.
LayerSlider WP = You need to authorize this site in order to get upgrades or support for this plugin. Purchase a license or enter an existing purchase code.
Updating Plugin WPBakery Visual Composer (1/1): An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?
Why do I need to authorize these plugins if they are included with the Theme? I can’t seem to update them unless I authorize, which costs money. I was under the impression that they come included?
The licence key you got by buying the theme is only for you to register in this support forum. Not to update included plugins. These plugins have a extended licence that let’s all of our customers use them freely. We update them to their latest versions, in every theme release. But if you wish to update before this, then you will need to buy the plugins yourself.
