I changed the portfolio slug to just “portfolio” in Specular > Portfolio Config, but it won’t work until Permalinks are updated. I’m just leaving this note for others who may run into the same issue.
If you don’t resave permalinks, you’ll get 404 errors for all your portfolio items.
Note to theme author – I think you can trigger resaving permalinks when this option is updated.
It happens in all the themes, after changing portfolio slug the permalinks should be reset, it’s not possible to make them re-save automatically after portfolio slug is changed.
