Hi,
Can you check this page and tell me why I lose portfolio items. There are only 16 items in total. I’ve changed it to different column amounts to see if it helps. Some more items show up if I use 5 columns. But I want to use two columns in which case I lose whole categories.
Also, despite the fact that this was originally the masonry portfolio demo page, it refuses to display masonry, only grid. The reason I had to try and modify this page was because the theme was refusing to change the ‘front page’ to anything else.
Please can you help.
Details to follow. This is a new site so please don’t confuse it with problems on my other 2 sites I’ve created with Tower.

Hello,
The problem seems to be when the masonry style it on. I changed it to grid and it’s displaying ok. To show more items per page, please read this article: https://support.codeless.co/?ht_kb=display-all-portfolio-items-in-one-page
The masonry style does not have any issue on our side. And i don’t see any plugin that may be affecting it in your site. Did you perhaps made any changes to theme files?
I suggest you download a fresh copy of theme files and update theme.Let us know how if the situation persists.
Best regards!

Hi,
I’m not sure what you mean by the above. You say ‘<span style=”color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Raleway; font-size: 14px;”>The problem seems to be when the masonry style it on’ ,</span>
But then you follow it by saying ‘<span style=”color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Raleway; font-size: 14px;”>The masonry style does not have any issue on our side’.</span>
No changes were made to theme files.
So I’m left wondering, if you can see that there is a problem when the masonry style is on, then there is inherently a problem, no?
So I did what you advised. I downloaded the tower theme again and uploaded it to the site and then activated it. It has still got the same problem.
I cannot set the front page…it doesn’t save it. So I am stuck with not being able to change to a different page in order to overcome the present display issues. which is that the portfolio is simply not displaying as it should. I’m on my 3rd Tower themed site so I know that when it works, it’s great. However this is not great, it’s just glitchy and not working properly.
Please can you check again and tell me why it is not displaying the items properly or consistently.
Thanks

Further to the above, I managed to change the front page, to another portfolio page I created.
Nothing shows up on this page at all if I set it as Masonry which is not good but if I set it to grid it shows SOME of the items.
But given there are only 16 items in total, it is NOT an issue where it is over 22 items. So why are they not displaying?
Also I do NOT want pagination (I noticed it had been turned back on after you looked at the site last time), but all I want is for the portfolio to display as it has done on my other sites….not missing so many items out.
Thanks

Please can I ask why this issue is not being addressed. even your original response doesn’t make any effort to solve the problem. You restate the issue, which is the portfolio is not displaying most of the items…which I knew as that is why I asked for help.
You then go on the tell me to look at how to display all items on one page. I didn’t ask that question. I asked why the portfolio was not displaying even the 16 items that were there.
The portfolio is SUPPOSED to be able to display both masonry AND grid. If it doesn’t then the problem is with the theme. But that is also not addressed. You say instead that there is no problem at your end. If you can see that it is not displaying the masonry grid then the problem is clearly there. To make the assumption that I must have changed the files, so it can now just be left for another 3 days before I hear anything is not good support.
If I don’t get any support on this issue today I have to ask for my money back so I can buy a theme where the support is highly responsive, and doesn’t just push the problem back onto the customer..then leave it for 3 days. ie X Theme. I am already 3 days behind in handing this site to the client. Not good.

Hello,
Let’s take things one at a time.
1-By default when you set the portfolio with 3 columns, it will display ONLY 9 items per page. To see the other items you will have to navigate to the second page and so on.
While you are at a certain page (example page 1), if you filter the portfolio using the categories filter bar, it will search the items of that category and display only them. BUT the filter is applied ONLY to the items of that page! Not all portfolio items available. Therefore it will not included items located in page 2,3 ..etc.And this is why i suggested you to read this article: https://support.codeless.co/?ht_kb=display-all-portfolio-items-in-one-page
So that you can change the number of portfolio items to show in one page.2-I did further tests, the masonry style is not the problem. It’s actually the “Overlayed with base color and zoom effect” portfolio style paired with the masonry style that causes this. I have informed the developer team and they are looking into it. We will include a fix in the next theme update.
In the mean time you can use one of the other available styles. Please know that you wrote us during the weekend. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday.
