Hi I have been creating portfolio items and they show up in the protfolio grid but how do I create portfolio project individual pages. I asumed they are genertaed while I create a portfolio item but they are empty. My portfolio items are mostly video format and I use the feature image for the thumbnail but the custom vimeo link it takes me to vimo page not to the project page. I know I am missing something – I would like to find out how to create individual portfolio project pages? so when I click the image in the portfolio grid ot takes me to this project with the descriptiion and embeded vimeo video.
You can add portfolio page s just like any other normal page. Go to Portfolio items > Add new, to add a new portfolio. In the new page opened, add elements using Codeless Builder just like any other page. Make sure to assign the portfolio category in

To add a video element, you need to add first the ‘Media’ element from Codeless Builder. Chose the ‘video with placeholder’ option from it. Then add the youtube link id in the ‘Video Background > Youtube ID‘ field.

The id of a youtube video link is the very last part of the link. Example: In this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Txlk7PiHaGk you will copy only the ‘Txlk7PiHaGk‘ id part.
Thank you. But does this mean I have to build single porfolio pages for each portfolio item by adding media element and title and text ? I have a lot of project to add is there a way to create a template – or what would be the best way to make sure the pages look consistant and i can reuse the same format ?
Hi I just folow your instrction but I used Vimeo video id and the video shows up but it has no sound it seems like it is playing as a backround I cant find any audio on and off controls. Also if the sudio play is not tun on there is no way to play it the controls dont show

You can set it up just like blog posts, but the controls do not display in the portfolio version. This is not a customization i can do for you, as it is a bit more complicated. I have notified the developers and we have this in our to-do list for future theme updates.
As a workaround, you can add this css into your Additional Css to control the video with mouse clicks. Click on the video to pause/play it.
