Hi,
I would go live with the website soon, but suddenly no portfolio items are accessible any more?!
I get the error 404 when I try to edit or call a portfolio item. The codeless demo data is also affected.
The overview on the page (i.e. https://terrassenbauen.com/site) is shown, but when clicking on an item the 404 comes up….
Could you please help me URGENTLY so I can edit the items again as they are part of my home page.
Since I had not tested the portfolio since the update to the new theme version until now, I can’t say since when the error is present….
I’m pretty panicked should the entries be missing; as I’ve done a lot of work today, restore from a backup would not do the trick because all the work would be lost. :o(
Thanks!

Hi,
I think I found the root cause:
As I can see you’ve disabled my child-theme regarding a other ticket and made a new one (renaming my original “old”). But the new child-theme is not active. When I try to activate this new child theme, WP wants me to install and activate necessary plugins?!
I do not want to do that, because I’m afraid that then comes again an error. However, the missing child theme seems to fix the error. When I look at this in the live preview, then the portfolio items are visible again!
Maybe you can help me out, since you’ve installed a new version of the child theme…
Thanks in advance.

I was able to re-activate the child-theme and the portfolio is back.
But I need to know why this is not working with the specular original theme.
Please let me know, as I’d like to get rid of the child theme in the near future. There must have been a reason why you disabled the child theme in connection with the other support ticket.
That would be essential to know.
Thanks in advance for responding – as I loved the support from you so far.
