Can you be a little more specific related to search? Is it normal search or product search? Can you post the link?
How exactly did you overwrite them? Please know that not all theme files can be added in a child theme. I recommend you do the change in the parent theme in this case.
I have notified the developer and this is a change that will most probably be added in the next theme update anyway.
