Problem with background of footer

  Hello,
  
  I am creating a new website for my company and have come across a problem i can not solve.
  
  The link is http://www.nipa.swiss
  
  If you visit the homepage, and most of the other sites with short content, the footer works perfectly. But, if you visit https://nipa.swiss/fassaden/ you can see the problem with the footer. It expands in height and overlaps with most part of the body.
  
  The only CSS code i implemented is the following one:
  
  footer#footer .inner {
  height: 170px;}
  
  But this doesn’t seem to be the problem.

  The CSSHero plugin is the culprit. I deactivated it and now the copyright is ok.

  Thank you very much. The issue is gone now.
  
  But not there is an ugly gap on the homepage between the slider and the footer. Can i remove the white space there somehow?

  Please go to General Options > Layout and set the Padding and Margin to 0. Currently is set to 85px.
