Same problem with Blog archive page. I cant set Posts archive custom page in website settings. When i do that it reverts back to June blog archive page.
Can you please help me totally get rid of June Product Archive and Blog Archive pages so wordpress wont find anything to revert to and keep my custom pages?

When you select the Blog page or the Shop product page in settings as theme default, then they’ll get all their settings from the theme default. You can manipulate these default settings in the Appearance > Customize , but you cannot change the entire page layout and styling.
If you wanna select them as theme default then you have to take care of the theme workflow. If you do it by third-party plugin then it may disturb your theme default workflow.
