I am using Specular version 2.0 with Visual Composter version 4.12.
I have been using the ninja forms plugin to build a few various forms and one useful feature for me was to use it’s “date picker” feature. However, it does not work as it should. I have tried deactivating most of my plugins to see if anything was interfering, and then temporarily activated one of the integrated wordpress themes (twenty sixteen) and it works just fine.
I reached out to the ninja forms support team and they said it is most likely something to do with the Specular theme itself, blocking the jquery date picker.

One of the forms with this issue is at https://okhelicoptersca.netfirms.com/webupdate/application-form/ with the field “Date of birth” at the top and “intended start date” at the bottom fields in question.
Okay… but like I said I have spoken with support from the plugin developers themselves and they believe it is an issue with the theme itself not allowing the jQuery request. I have activated other themes to test and they all work fine with what I am trying to do.
