Read a lot about it, but can’t fix it myself. Since last sunday my Visual Composer plugin isn’t working properly anymore. I get this message:</p>
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; color: #393d40; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;”>”You have an outdated version of Visual Composer Design Options. It is required to review and save it.”</p>
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; color: #393d40; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;”>But when I click on the button “open design options” WordPress is telling me:</p>
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; color: #393d40; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;”>“You don’t have enough rights for this page” (translated it from Dutch, don’t know the exact message in English)</p>
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; color: #393d40; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;”>Please can anyone help me out?</p>

Well thanks for that, but I don’t understand a thing of it. I tried to update the theme, installed the plugin again, but nothing works. Can someone please help me out here? This is already taking too long and it has a bad influence on my business!

Hello,
If you have successfully updated theme and plugin, there should not be any issue. If you can not access some pages in your wordpress installation, you may have restricted access right on the site’s files. Contact your hosting provider to make sure this is not the case.
