Hi. Tower theme use on 3 sites, with 3 different licenses. I have 2 big problems that I can’t solve
1. One of the problems is for all 3 sites: I can’t update the theme: this problem was already presented and we had solved it, but following the information I had previously received
Problems with Tower Theme update and site speed, frontend and backened
I can’t update the theme: when I update the theme, using ENVATO MARKET, the item TOWER disappears, which I would use to restore the customizations saved with IMPORT / EXPORT (Dummy Data). But I update the theme, the voice disappears and I can’t import the saved customizations.
Furthermore, I have two ENVATO plugins: ENVATO TOOLKIT and ENVATO MARKET and on one of the sites (http://www.palestradellascrittura.it), ENVATO TOOLKIT is deprecated: confirmed should it be deleted to keep and use is ENVATO MARKET only? I did several tests, even deleting the ENVATO TOOLKIT plugin the problem remains: after updating the theme, the TOWER item disappears from the backend sidebar.
2. https://www.palestradellascrittura.it/ In addition to the problem overwritten, common to all the 3 Tower themes I use, the site http://www.palestradellascrittura.it is very slow, both frontend and backend. The strangest aspect is on the backend: very long waiting times, even for the simplest operations: for example, if you go to the page https://www.palestradellascrittura.it/materiali/pocherighe/ and open the article directly from the item of the upper panel (EDIT POST), before the whole backend is fully activated, too much time passes, 2 minutes !!!
I ask you the courtesy to support me to solve these 2 important problems that are causing me conflicts with the owners (customers) of the 3 sites. I have specifically updated the support service, to be able to count on your knowledge and resolve everything.
Thanks for your patience. Best regards. Bruno

Hello,
1-You can update theme, just make sure to activate the required plugins again first hand. As instructed here: https://support.codeless.co/?topic=theme-updating-and-loss-of-customizations
-Use only the latest version of the Envato plugin, which is Envato Market.
2-I suggest you check and increase the memory allocated to WordPress in the server. Also installing a caching plugin can help.
Check this article for more details: https://codeless.co/how-i-increased-more-than-70-the-speed-of-my-website/PS: Your support time has expired. Please consider buying additional time to get further support.
Best regards!

Hello,
There is nothing wrong or that you can not do yourself regarding the update.
1-“I only use the latest version of Envato Market, but the problem remains. After updating the theme, the Tower item disappears.”
This has nothing to do with the Envato Market plugin. When you update the theme, some important plugins get deactivated because of the update process. One of these plugins is the one that makes the ‘Tower’ menu item appear. So you only need to go to plugins, after updating theme and activate them again.2-“the first message appears “You are not allowed to access this page””
Same logic for this as well. It is a common message of WordPress after an update process. Just go to yoursite.com/wp-admin directly after this. You will be able to access it without problems. Then to plugins, update/activate any plugin that needs it.3-We are checking the support status and update it.
Let us know.

Thanks Michela, I was wrong, I didn’t realize I had to restore
Install Required Plugins \ Codeless Framework
and the theme update went well. I will do the same on the other two Tower themes.
The problem of extreme slowness in connecting to the backend remains: entering the backend, waiting times are two minutes. The front end seems to appear in 7, 8 seconds, very well. But the backend has infinite waiting times and working on it becomes difficult. Could you check for yourself by connecting to wordpress with the accesses I sent you for Codeless? Thanks a lot for your support. Best regards. Bruno

Hello,
This much loading time is not normal. I suggest you contact your host first and increase the server requirements. You may need to increase the file size loading or the allocated memory for WordPress.
Then you can proceed in taking the steps in the article i send you.
Best regards!
