Remove Header Not Working

  Hello,
  
  I am trying to remove the header from my maintenance page while I complete setup, but the code I found on the forums is not working for some reason. Any ideas? Thanks.

  You only need to add this code:
  
  #header { display: none !important; }

  Thank you Mihaila that worked well, however I quickly realized that I do not mind keeping the header on my maintenance page, I just do not want the the navigation to show. Would this be the same except replace #header with #navigation ? Sorry, I am a bit new to this.

  Yes, it is the same. The final form of the code should be:
  
  #navigation { display: none !important; }
