I need to remove some theme image sizes – reason being, I’m working with a very large website with up to 10,000 photos and having this multiply to 100,000 due to automatic resizing is not an option. We can simply display the 150×150 thumbnail that WordPress already generates, it doesn’t matter if this is resized in CSS.
I already know how to remove the files, however upon doing this, there are many images not displaying. I need to make the theme display 150×150 files instead of 100×100 files.
I’m confident editing PHP but have not found where these sizes are defined in the theme PHP files.
I would really appreciate any guidance on where these can be located so i can disable them in my child theme.
Regards
Tom
