      Hello,

      I’m using Tower theme.

I need to remove unnecessary resources such as unused css and javascripts. But I can’t find where they are stored. They are making my page heavy and affecting the SEO.

      Regards

      Hello,

Have you installed many third party plugins? Some of the plugins may infect the CSS or even the javascripts of a website, making it look heavy.
If you want to speed up your site please refer to this article, it shows the proper ways, step by step.
Our theme it is SEO optimized, so it doesn’t affect your seo ranking.
Anyway, if you want to change the css and javascript files, go to your theme files tower\wp-content\themes\tower and open the css and js folders. There you have the main CSS and javascript files.

      Best regards!

      Dear Kris

No I’m not using many plugins. just the ones included in the theme package.

The issue is that the theme generating many inline CSS and javascript codes. Many of these codes are useless to me such as woocommerce ,…

The problem is that the theme calls all styles (even the styles of unused options/versions of Tower theme) in the page and it makes the page so heavy (about 1.5MB of stylesheets!).

I went through the instructions described in the link you mentioned above and commented out for example all woocommerce related functions but still woocommerce inline styles are calling in the page header.

Any idea on how to disable useless inline styles?

      Hello,

You can use any plugin for this. But keep in mind that if you minify these too much, it may create some problems in your site. Read this article for more information.

But still we recommend to keep it to the basics as mentioned in the article Kris send you.
The css generated is from the theme options set up in your admin panel. So we do not recommend removing it as it will affect theme’s styling.

      Best regards!
