Have a couple of issues:
1. Images don’t scale correctly on full width content during mobile scaling
2. More importantly, a strange 40px bottom-padding is appearing when I resize from a mobile to desktop view

I have made some fixes. Now about the About us that back to full screen adds padding please can you check these lines on main.js:

Try to remove this section:
if($window_width < 768){ $('.vc_column', self).last().css('padding-bottom', '40px'); }else{ $('.vc_column', self).last().css('padding-bottom', pad);
