Are you are attempting to update from child theme? If you have child theme activated, please switch to parent theme first. Update plugins and then get back to child theme.

It’s the same error I’m getting both from godaddy and my local/xampp installation. And I know what I’m doing.

Please try again by installing the slider zip file we send you, directly from Plugins > Add New.

I am having the same issue. Layerslider WP won’t install. Says: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

Revolution slider is posting this error on the homepage: Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias business1 not found.

Hello,

When the demo data was build, a specific slider has been chosen. Since it is not present in theme(either it could not have been uploaded just yet, or is not available anymore) that is not important. You should select one of the available sliders.
