      Hi,

I have worked with the revolution slider before but at the moment I created a slider with a simple button that should go to an anchor on the same page. Unfortunately it does not work. Also it is not possible to scroll while the slide is showing. Only the sidebar in the browser makes it possible to scroll.

      Hello,

Please send us a link where you are using the slider. I don’t see any active slider on your site, even on homepage. Also i can scroll easily through your homepage.
What theme and revolution slider version do you have?

      Let us know.

      Best regards!

      Hello,

Please update Revolution slider plugin. The latest version is 5.2.6 and it is included in the latest theme version. I see you do have the latest theme version. All you have to do is go to your wp-content/plugins folder in your server and rename (or delete) the current revolution slider folder. Then go back to your dashboard and install the included in the theme version of it.
Note: you have to have parent theme activated while doing this.

I had no issue scrolling the home page from a desktop computer, mobile and ipad. What device are you using to access it? What screen dimensions does it have?

      Let us know.

      Best regards!

      Hi,

I always use a child theme to avoid having css stuff and such deleted. Is your child theme also updated with the latest theme update?

In Chrome, Firefox and Explorer the scrolling does not work on my (Windows) computer and also anchors (#) do not seem to work.

I have added a button on the homepage (= ‘Get in contact!’) that should jump to the contactsection at the bottom, but it does not work on my computer. Does it work on yours?

I use a screen that is very large. 108 cm (it is an old TV with svga, so I can use it as computerscreen).

      Regards,

      Richard

      Hello,

The child theme inherits the core functions from parent theme. If you update parent theme then you are ok. It is not necessary to update child theme as well.

Are you referring to the “Get in contact” button in this section?
This is not a Revolution slider, and i don’t see any other button with this title in the slider.
Any way, to use links within one page, from button to section you have to have set up the page as an One Page. To do so, go to the page’s General Settings > Page Options & Style > Use menu as one page menu, set it ON (screenshot).
      Let us know.

      Best regards!

      Hi,

The onepage setup only applies to the MENU, correct? My question is not about the menu.

My slider button and my button with the text “Get in Contact” on the homepage both use an anchor (= #).

The “Get in contact” button refers to ‘#homecontact’.

The row id of the contactform on the homepage is ‘#homecontact’.

But when I click the button “Get in contact” nothing happens. It should jump to ‘#homecontact’, correct?

So I wander if I am doing something wrong or if the button is not working…

      Regards,

      Richard

      Hello,

      Sorry for the late reply.
The error you were doing was that the row id had to be pasted inside the Row Settings > Extra Class Name. I added it there and now it does redirect you to the section without issue.
      Please check your site.

      Best regards!

      Hi Mihaila,

Thank you very much! I did not know that. I thought adding it to the row ID would be enough.

That is also the reason why the slider button does not work of course…

      Thanks!

      Regards,

      Richard
