You will notice that you didn’t replace the gradient, you just placed an opaque image over the top, so the gradient still displays around the edges. You didn’t show how to replace/remove that gradient in the background.
To demonstrate, try changing the bg to “background-blue-grad.png” from the image library.
I want to edit (or remove completely) this background gradient. I think it’s an image.
But it is not added in the way you showed in your video. I can’t find where that gradient image has been uploaded.
I added an image the way you said (a blue gradient effect with transparent bg), and you will see it just places it over the top of the pink/purple gradient

If you are talking about pre-ready footer and header and i told you the link to edit and if you are talking to change the design of pre-ready footer/header blocks then you may require back-end knowledge to change the layout of footer/header blocks.
