I submitted these questions on Saturday 8/8 but they did not post. Here they are again.
1) I have set the backgrounds of the body text area to white on every page. However, on the Search Results page, the background is transparent:
https://annsmusic.com/?s=trumpets
How do I change this to white? I can’t leave it the way it is — no one can read the text.
2) When I look at the site in portrait orientation on my iPhone and iPad, the logo at the top is not centered — it aligns right. I have to make this much smaller so that it won’t overlap. How can I change this so it aligns center in all formats?
3) When I look at the site in landscape orientation on my iPad, it appears fine. However, which I switch to portrait mode or start scrolling in landscape mode, there’s a big transparent bar on the right — the white background disappears. Does this need the same fix that you suggested here:
Or do I need something else?
4) I would like to change the links in the text and on the menu so that the links change color when someone rolls over them (a:hover).
Also on the menu, I’d like to change it so the active page link is underlined and changes to a different color (a:active). I have tried adding these classes in three different places, and none have worked. How would I change this? Where would I add these commands?
Thank you for your help!

Hello,
1-Please add this code into your custom css box:
#content { background-color: rgb(255, 254, 254) !important; }
2-Add this code, into your custom css box:
@media (max-width: 480px){ #logo { left: -67px !important;} } @media (max-width: 767px){ #logo img { height: 84px;} }
3-For the landscape mode in ipad, please add this code:
(max-width: 1100px) and (min-width: 981px){ .top_wrapper { width: 100% !important;} }
4-The color of links on mouse hover, is the main color of your site. You can change it in General Options > Styling Options > Primary Color. If you want to have a different color for links, and different primary color, then add these lines into your custom css box:
a:hover { color: #8C6CA9 !important; }
edit the color to your wish.
And for the menu, add this code:.header_10 nav li.current-menu-item > a{ color: #16A916; border-bottom: 2px solid; }
Best regards!

I got all of this to work.
1) Worked as suggested.
2) Worked as suggested.
3) Had to change to to this and now it works.
@media (max-width: 1100px) and (min-width: 981px){
.top_wrapper { width: 100% !important;}
}4) I tried pasting these into Custom CSS but they didn’t work. I had to paste them in styles.css in the appropriate sections, and they work now. So I will need to create a child theme.
Thanks for your help!

Hello,
For no. 4 try editing the code to this:
.header_10 nav li.current-menu-item > a{ color: #16A916 !important; border-bottom: 2px solid !important; }
Glad to know it is all ok now.
Best regards!
