Hello;
I’m working on a site using the Specular Parallax one-page theme. At one point, I had the header working correctly but I must have fidgeted with something in the settings and now can’t get it to go back to how it was looking. Of course, I didn’t catch on early enough that using the Revision tool in WP to find when it was working before I kept on making changes to the site. I did try accepting my fate and going back a bunch of edits to see if I could get it right but didn’t seem to work, so I canceled those revisions. Is there a particular order of settings that I need to do to mimic how the logo/memu appear on the Parallax demo? I’m trying to get it back to how that looks. Short of starting over from scratch, I’m not sure what I have to do.Thanks for your help

Hi,
Kindly just let me know what you want to achieve ? May be we can directly go to the solution.
Thanks

Thanks for responding. I’m basically just trying to recreate the heading/menu on the Mountain Resort parallax demo: https://codeless.co/preview.php?theme=specular&demo=parallax
I imagine that it’s probably the default setting for the demo, or something along those lines. I just haven’t been able to get it back to that particular look. Once there, I’ll be able to customize it to how I want it.
Thanks

Hi,
If you are in the developing process you can reimport demo, otherwise you can go back through your server backup if there is any available.
Or let me know which specific thing is missing for you ? As by now I can only get that you lost your settings or page look and want to get that back.
Kindly clarify.
Thanks

By re-importing the demo, that’s basically starting over from scratch, right?
I was hoping it was just a few changes in the theme options that I could make in order to get it back to how it was looking. I didn’t do anything with CSS or directly to theme HTML. I just fiddled around with the options settings, then got distracted with something else, and when I realized it, I couldn’t just go back and un-check what I had checked, etc. So I’m wondering if there’s a specific setting in the theme options panel(s) that create the menu for the Mountain View demo because that’s what I’m looking for. If not, I guess I’ll just have to start over from scratch.
Thanks

Hi,
The point still here is that I can’t guess what and how you were doing before making those changes :( so without knowing that it is impossible to do without knowing what to do. I hope you can understand my position. I do want to assist you and I would be happy to see you moving but right now I don’t know what actually you were doing and what you lost in the process.
You can let me know what you want to achieve may be I can help in that ?
Thanks

Sorry, it’s been a few days. I’m not sure what I did, either so I can’t really tell you. I thought that there might be a specific set of options that I’d have to select to get it back to what it was but it may be better at this point to just do what you said, re-import. It’s only a few pages and not even that much content, either. I’ll just take some screenshots of what I have so far and set aside a day or two to recreate. No biggie…
Thanks for your time and assistance.
Have a great day!

Hi,
You can then simply import your demo again and can make changes. Because I am not sure what you lost in the process ?
Thanks

Hello;
I hope I can still continue this conversation… I was able to import the demo again and customize the theme like I had before and it’s definitely looking better. My issue now is with the first page (which I’m guessing is a “slider”?). I can’t get the height to match the demo so it looks like a page. Is there a CSS setting that I need to add under “Additional CSS” to expand the height so it looks like a full page? Thanks again!
-
Oh, to add…
Looking at the CSS for the demo using Chrome’s Inspect Element tool, I found that the div for “codeless_slider_swiper parallax_slider” are set to 703px. When I add that to the Additional CSS option, it increases the slider/”page” height but shows a white background instead of the background image that was uploaded for it. And the image that was uploaded is definitely large. It’s just not showing its full height… if that’s any help. Thanks

Hi,
Do you want to increase slider height ? Send me admin login credentials along with the URL and page link where you want to set height larger and I will set that for you.
Also let me know what height suits you best ?
Thanks

Hi,
Make sure you put your credentials as a private reply.
Thanks

Oh, unfortunately it’s on my localhost. I haven’t uploaded it anywhere yet.

Hi,
Then just check slider settings by editing your mentioned slider and see its settings. You do have a lot of built in slider settings to play with and I hope that will work for you.
Or just let me know which slider you are using and what height you want so I can provide you some code but that is like a guess as there may be some other changes on your website. I hope you got the point.
Thanks
