Slider Revolution – text layer problem

      I’m having trouble with my Slider Revolution on my home page. I have 5 slides and I added a text layer to each one stating what that slide is about. However, the text is acting odd on some slides and even disappearing on mobile.

      I want the text to fit about 90% of the width of the device, with it shrinking the text size if necessary. I couldn’t figure out how to do that. On a couple of slides, I could change the appearance on each device and on others I could not and I have no idea why.

      Thank you!

      Hello,

      Yuo have an error in your site. Please go to file js\main.js and find this line:
      linkElement : 'a:not([target="_blank"]):not([href^=#]):not(.lightbox-gallery):not(.zoom):not(.prettyphoto)'
      Replace with this:
      linkElement : 'a:not([target="_blank"]):not([href^="#"]):not(.lightbox-gallery):not(.zoom):not(.prettyphoto)'
      Also please send us your wp credentials in a private reply. So we can give a closer look to Revolution slider.

      Best regards!

      I fixed the .js errors and that didn’t seem to solve this problem on the revolution slider, but it did solve an earlier problem I had with the background colors.

      I’m now having another problem where I can’t see some components in visual optimizer that I know are there. The home page, for example, I can’t see the tabs or bullets towards the bottom half of the page and I can’t see the call to action. If I can’t see them, I can’t edit them.

      Hello,

      -The code i send you was for the js error, not revolution slider. I asked for the credentials so we can check the slider.

      -What elements are you not seeing? Most probably these elements are removed from the recent version. You can enable them again by just commenting out the element in the includes/core/codeless_elements.php file.
      Send us the elements you want back and the ftp and wp credentials in a private reply. So we can help you with these.

      Best regards!

      Hello,

      1-What do you mean by “Revolution slider not working”? I made a test and the slider shows ok. In the homepage you do not have selected any slider in General Settings > Slider Options.
      2-I opened this page and i can see all available elements.
      3-You have to purchase a license for each copy of Specular theme, you’ll be using.
      4-The only way to get those pages back is to import dummy data once again. But this would overwrite all your current changes so it is not considerable.
      You could install theme in a localhost. Import dummy data and copy-paste the code from the pages you want back, to your current site.
      Let us know.

      Best regards!

      Hi Mihaila,

      Thank you so much for all your help and for answering my questions. Much appreciated.

      I know the slideshow  wasn’t selected on Slider Options. After it stopped working, I kept trying to select it, update it and it wouldn’t take. However, it works now so I’m happy! Have no idea why it was in a bad mood before.

      Now how do I make the text responsive on those slides? I want it to look right on all devices.

      And why can’t I see the Call to Action element when I’m in Edit Page?

      Thanks again!

      Susan

      Hello,

      Sorry for the late reply.
      Please add this code into your custom css box:

      @media (max-width: 480px){
      .rev_slider .tp-mask-wrap .tp-caption { font-size: 15px !important; }
      }

      to change the slider font size in mobile. Edit the value to your wish.

      -What Visual Composer version do you have? Please make sure to have the latest version of both theme and Visual Composer. Can you please check the given credentials? I can’t login in.
      Let us know.

      Best regards!
