Hi! I using the Tower theme. My website is https://www.themodernbee.com found out how to edit the links for the social media pages that have. The issue is that I do not have some social media pages (google, twitter) and the image icons are still showing up even though the area where I put the URL to link the page is empty. What should I do to remove the icons that I do not need? Thank you!!

Hello,
I can not see the social bar in your site right now. Did you remove it? The socials are set to display only when there is a link added to the respective social input field in General Options > Socials. Please check again as even a simple sign like ‘#’ is enough to enable the social icon for display. It is not necessary to have a full functional link in it.
If the issue persists, fill in the necessary information on your extra information fields of your profile data. So we can give it a closer look.Read this article for more information.
Best regards!

Opps! The social media section is right under the purple header that says that if you buy something then it will not be fulfilled. I went into the social media section and there are #’s. When I delete the # it will not allow me to save what I have done and therefore the images are still showing.

I got it figured out!! Thank you for all of your help!

Hi, I’m having this same problem. I cannot remove the Google+ and Youtube icons. I try to remove the # letters from the fields, but they reappear no matter what I do.
Maybe you can help me out here?
Best Regards,
Jukka

Hi, I’ve filled in the url and wp-admin information. FTP is outside of our company policy, I’ve been told. Hope this is enough.
Another thing, it seems to be impossible to remove links from the small headers on the front page, as well. They carry the # sign. Removing that sign does not remove the link, however, which then points to the front page.
Best regards.

I retried to remove the # signs, and it finally worked. Maybe it was just a browser cache thing or whatever, but now I was able to remove the unneeded icons.
Great, thanks.
