  How can I delete few of the social icons in footer widget without modifying the source code. if I want to modify the source code I have to activate the child theme which does not take my original configurations of the site and I have to do the work again ????

  Please go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearances > Widgets > Footer Column 1 > Custom Html there you can find all code to remove or to add a new icon.

  hello,
  
  you can only delete the whole social widget but not few icons from it.
  
  anyways what I did is copy the code from the source code in the browser for this area.
  
  I deleted the social widget and added the personalized html one.
  
  I pasted the code and deleted what I don’t need from the social network icons.
