social widget – can this open the social media pages in new tabs/windows?

  I am wondering how can i make my social widget open social media pages as a new tabs or windows as not to make visitors leave my site too early?

  Please edit the file ‘specular\includes\widgets\codeless_socialwidget.php’.
  
  Find the social icons and add
  
  target="_blank"
  
  like this
  
  echo '<li class="facebook"><a href="'.esc_url($cl_redata['facebook']).'" target="_blank"><i class="icon-facebook"></i></a></li>';

  Can you make this default behavior? That seems more logic to me. Or even better, can you make it an option for each Social Link?
  
  Otherwise we always have to edit your php files after an update.
