I just puirchasd the specular theme and installed a fresh wordpress install, installed theme and plugins (the plugins required differs to the installation documentation:
Documentation states the following: LayerSlider WP, MailChimp List Subscribe Form, Revolution Slider, User Avatar, WPBakery VIsual Composer and WP Retina 2x
I was only given option of Codeless Framework, codeless starter sites, redux framework and Envato market.
Theme has been activated.
I then went to install demo data and did as instructed on the documentation – This did nothing. I repeated this but no content is being installed. I only see an empty blog with one post on, no Specular theme template or plugins/images etc. There is no content in the back end.
I checked the Specular demo content folder and both ‘demos’ and ‘img’ folders in includes/dummy_data are empty. Is this correct?
I trashed the install, started again and this time tried the FTP method to see if this corrected the issue, it didn’t seem to make any difference. However as this is a ‘new’ install (on the same domain), I’m now getting an error saying ‘Code is already registered for other domain’ – Domain is the same, email address is the same.
De-registering does not fix the problem though? My issue is the demo content doesn’t seem to be included in the install package..
Thank you for de registering, I am now back to the original issue of not being able to install demo data – I thought providing you with login credentials would mean you could see this problem?
Your provided login details are not working, Kindly recheck those logins. For demo content, just go to starter websites page and import your demo from that or send me working logins I will send you correct link to go to import page.
I just purchased this theme and experiencing the same issue. I am unable to get any demo content to load. I was also unable to find the online editor to customize and then import. Please help.
Thank you for that response. That was what I was looking for and I was sort of able to get the data imported, but there are some elements missing that were on the demo, but not imported. That’s frustrating.
