Specular – Social media not showing – Scroll down issues – Dropdown menu

      I have my site almost ready (using the Photography template as a starting point), so I gathered a few issues I found in the customisation:

      · Social media icons do not appear, I had to create a submenu but I rather had the icons at the bottom of the header

      · The scrolling down of the pages works weirdly, it just jumps down from one item to the other (xex: from a slider to text content) but I would like it to scroll smoothly (as it happens in the template demo) – that way I can align items as a single long page, not to look as independent pages that jump one to another

      · The header doesn’t respond right to the dropdown menu, when the list items stick out from it they are impossible to see. Also, is it possible to centre the dropdown menu so the accordion centre aligns with its main menu?

      Hello,

      1-The socials in header were added like a menu. You have the widget socials for that. not need to add it as a menu. I added the Specular Social Widget and it’s showing ok.

      2-This is the style of the demo you have selected. To change the smooth scroll you need to edit theme code. Sorry but this is a customization not included in support.

      3-This is not quite possible but you can change the position by using this custom css:

      .header_7 #navigation.pos_left nav .menu > li > ul.sub-menu {
              top: -50px !important;
      }

      I already added it into your Custom Css box in General Options.
      Change the value to your wish.

      Hello,

      I understand your point!
      Please go to each page’s General Settings > Page Options & Style > Fullscreen Sections Sliding, set it OFF (screenshot).

      Hi there,

      I just have 2 last issues with the site;

      1. does the header height has a limit? – if I add widgets, or a long submenu, it is not possible to navigate in it ´is there a way to fix that?

      2. just a question; the hover box element that I’m using (coming as default element) does not work in the responsive mode, right? – I mean it doesn’t react as a link button in small devices because it ‘doesn’t hover’ there, isn’t it?

      Hello,

      1-Yes, this type of header (side header) is limited in height, to the height of the screen. Because the style of the demo is fixed header with content scrolling beside it, so the header can not exceed the visible space.
      I can suggest you organize the menu in sub-menus to add more items to it.

      2-In responsive, this effect is gotten by the tapping action. Not hovering.

      The problem I had above with the hover not working on iPhones disappeared for a while but now is back, is not working and we checked different devices and it isn’t working in any of them, what is quite of a big problem in our site… any thoughts?

      Please check the links. I recommend you to add the link at the column and not to the element itself.

      Maybe you have added some links there that have created this issue.

      But the element it’s a button to a link of each photographer (that’s why the element is designed I guess, to be a button to a link), so it wouldn’t make sense to add the link to the column.

      And it was working before anyway, I did nothing and it just stopped working.

      So you suggest to create a single column for every element?

      Where should I add the link though? The element has a specific place for that that is supposed to be working (and it was).

      Could you check that. It is quite crucial for our website.

      Hey, did you find what the problem is?

      You got me, right?

      The hover is not working in cellphones, the problem is that, not the links. Is not even possible to access to the link from a phone. But it was on Monday, and the links worked. And I didn’t touch anything. So something happened with the theme.

      The site should be working fine tonite, is the opening.

      What are your thoughts?

      Hello,

      Please make sure to have installed the version we send you. Even if it may have the same version number as the pro-version you have already, the version we send you is customized to work well with theme.

      Please confirm you have our version installed and then we can proceed with testing.

      Hi again – when I get ready to uninstall the plugin it warns me that I would loose all my data related to it, and I cannot install yours if I don’t uninstall the previous, so… what should I do?

      Could I actually get more than one answer from you a day, please? This is going super slow and the problem actually comes from your theme…

      I’m quite desperate, the site is been working for two weeks now and obviously the clients are not very happy… I would really appreciate your help on this.

      Hello,

      Sorry for the late reply.
      You can just replace the plugins files directly in folder wp-content/plugins/js_composer. Use a ftp account or cpanel to do this.
      This way the files will be of the plugin we include in theme folder, and the settings will not be touched!

      I did replace it, some of the files weren’t able to copy but most of them did.

      The hover was still not working but I bought another plugin and I did solve that for now.

      I have this other issue happening, I attach file that shows it here (is an error that heppens when you scroll):

      It happens in laptops, both MACs and PCs.

      It seems like something that has to do with the responsiveness, but that is just my guess.

      Also; is there a way to randomize the button order on the pages with hover effects? – (I mean that every time you refresh the order is different)

      Hello,

      I think the issue is caused by the sticky header that is switched on. You have to deactivate it and the problem will be resolved.

      Open Customizer > Header > Sticky and switch it off. Click on save and retry.

      Please can you show me the order button because i can find it in any part of your website.

      I’m finding an issue with the Widgeted area (social media buttons and language switch).

      Is not showing in responsive mode (tablet and cells) – is there a way to have it there too?

      It would not make a lot of sense not being able to have this.
