Is there a way to integrate toolset with the wp bakery more? For instance, using the recent news element, being able to select from the custom posts I have created..

Let us know what do you mean with “toolset”.
If this is a plugin we doesn’t test it yet, so we don’t how the plugin can be integrated.
Normally we doesn’t offer support for third-party plugins.
