You have an old version of theme and Visual Composer. Many important changes has been made from this version to the current. Please update theme and plugins first.
Then deactivate all third party plugins.

Theme update overwrites all theme files. So if you have made changes to them directly, they will be lost. Your content however (pages, posts, portfolio items, text, images) is stored in the database. Which is not affected by any theme update. It will not be lost.
If you had a very old version of theme and Visual Composer, the max of lost will be the widgets. But you can put them back again in minutes. This is because in one of theme updates there were major changes made and it was added id’s to widgets.

However, to be calm, we always recommend to save a backup of your current site (files and database).

You do not need a licence key to install the included version. Please follow the steps described in the link i send you above (link).
For the included plugins there is not any licence key provided. If you must have it, then you have to buy it yourself.

We update theme frequently and with each release, the plugins get updated to their latest version too. So the licence number is not really necessary. However, that is your choice.

This is strange. Please deactivate all third party plugins (i see you have two plugins for staff editing) one of them could be conflicting with theme scripts. Then activate one by one until the culprit is found.

You have an old version of theme. The latest WordPress has some changes made that is why we updated recently both theme and Visual Composer.

Sorry for the late reply.
I just checked and the staff element has no issue. The problem is that you are trying to display them in a page that is not in the site’s original language.
You have to assign only the english staff to a english page and Spanish staff (staff created in spanish version of site) to a spanish page.
I made a test page to display it more clearly. Please check the elements in both english and spanish versions. The single staff vc element does display content in both versions.
