Text not showing on top of video background

  Hi there, I am putting this site together: https://redhill-badminton.com/ but I cannot get the main text to appear on top of the video background layer. It was like this right from the get-go when I unpacked the theme. Would you be able to help please?

  I found something similar and inserted this: <span style=”background-color: #f9f9f9; color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Inconsolata, Consolas, Monaco, ‘Lucida Console’, monospace; font-size: 15px;”>.video-section{ position:absolute; }</span>
  
  This seems to work, however I’m not technical, why did this happen and how come it needs this snippet of code to fix it?

  There are a lot of different reasons why a feature stops working or has bugs after some time. For example: a plugin, API or WordPress update can cause some code to stop working or conflict.
  That’s why themes and plugins get updated time after time.
  
  I will forward this to theme developer, so if it’s needed, he will include the fix in the next theme update.
