Translating to pt_BR

  Hello, I need some help!
  
  I’m trying to translate the “read more” and others therms to my WordPress Default Language (Brazilian Portuguese), but it’s not working!
  
  I have created the pt_BR.po and pt_BR.mo files in the specular/lang folder and translated the “read more”, but it’s showing in english yet.
  
  What I’m doing wrong?

  Do you have any language translation plugin installed? You have to have one installed for these files to work properly.
