So I have installed Specular Onepage along with dummy data, everything runs great, however I am unable to change the main navigation menu. When the theme was installed there was no menu in back end but the theme displayed a menu on front page (only 3 items tho, home-about-sample page).
When I created new menu I checked the box “use this menu for main navigation…” , it appears to save it but when I refresh back end the box is unchecked and of course no changes on front end either.
What’s funny is when I go to Appearance-Menu and I switch the menu to my new menu it displays the new menu correctly on the right side real-time preview, again when I save it appears to be saved but it reverses on page refresh and no front page changes.
And yes, I have created multiple menus, none are working.
You have installed theme wrongly. You have uploaded the hole package into your wp-content\themes, when you should have uploaded only the ‘specular’ theme folder (screenshot). Located inside the main folder you download from your Envato account. Please change that and let us know if the issue persists.
