I’m getting });*/ in the top left corner of my header. I have no custom JS or CSS. Any idea where it comes from and how I can get rid of it?
Below it is the company name – how do I alter its appearance?
My site is at sherpaconsulting.co.uk/wordpress
Hello,
When did this started to happen? Did you made any updates recently, or edited theme files, or installed some new third party plugin? First, please re-upload theme files from a fresh downloaded copy. This is just an unclosed tag or misplaced coma.
Let us know.
Best regards!
I’ve uploaded fresh theme files and deactivated all unused plug-ins. Still getting the characters.
Regards,
Jim
Hello,
Please send us your wp and ftp credentials in a private reply. So we can investigate this.
Best regards!
Hello,
You have many third party plugins installed. Please disable them all and try to enable one at a time. I suspect that the “Siteorigin – Page Builder” may be the culprit, but i can not test it as your wp credentials are not valid.
Let us know.
Best regards!
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
The error code was in your General Options > Tracking Code / Custom CSS / Custom JS > Tracking Code, block of code. I removed the comments that were generating it and now it’s ok.
Best regards!
