Updating “without” breaking site?

Hello. I’ve attempted to update your specular theme with codeless framework twice, both times failed, with the wordpress “critical error” snafu. I have Specular Version: 4.0.9. I did see your notice that reads “Install and activate Specular WPBakery & Backward Compatibility plugin (if you run 4.1.0 version)”. So, to be clear, the options are (1) fresh/new installation (starting from scratch), (2) ignore your theme updates, (3) install your own plugin to allow for backwards compatibility of WPBakery (which may allow the update to happen). Is that right? Assuming (3) is an option, I would of course need to install the plugin prior to updating your codeless framework since that is what’s causing the wordpress critical error. Would like to keep things updated, so please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

      Hi,

Can you send me your error details if any ? Or screenshot of errors ? Because we have to keep those in record so we can fix the code as well if anything is wrong with the code ? And that will also help us to keep you moving on.

      Thanks

Hello. As I noted, I upgraded the theme and the visual layout was broken. I then updated your codeless framework plugin which resulted in the WordPress “There has been a critical error on your website” and the white screen. There is nothing else to see. I tried twice with the same result. What I noted previously is all the information I have to provide.
