My site, vidbazaar.com, uses June theme, and is hosted on WordPress.com. On Dec 30, 2021, at 10:51 PM my time, they informed via email that my website has crashed. They mentioned this -> WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Codeless Page Builder. Today (Jan 1) morning, I disabled the plugin. Yet the website remains in limbo. I’ve renewed support at Envato, so please help me on this urgently.
More details –
WordPress version 5.8.2
Current theme: June Child Theme (version 1.0.1)
Current plugin: Codeless Page Builder (version 1.0.0) (now disabled)
PHP version 7.4.27 -
Hi,
One way to get your site back while unable to access WP site through WP-Admin is simply to rename the plugins folder to something i.e. plugins-old. Once you have done this, your site (in most cases) got back. You can repeat the same process with the themes directory if the problem doesn’t resolve. Once your site is back don’t forget to again rename the “plugins/themes” folder names back to their original names. Now, you can log in to your site.
As in your case, the Codeless Page Builder plugin is causing issues so you’ve to simply download and activate the plugins (Kirki Framework, Codeless Page Builder) from the below links and deactivate all instances of these two plugins in your site.
Hopefully, your site will get back to its working status.
Thanks,

Hi Azam,
I could access wp-admin via recovery link sent by WordPress.com. After that I disabled Codeless Page Builder plugin, hoping that everything would be alright. But the site continues to come blank … with just the warning -> There has been a critical error on this website.
At this stage I’m confused as to which one of your 2 suggestions should I follow. Can you please clarify?
Also, if I’m to do the 2nd one, do you suggest that I first 1) install the 2 plugins from your link, and then 2) remove them again?
Thanks.

Hi,
Please share website URL, wp-admin, and FTP info (login/ passwords) and send using “private reply”. I’ll check the issue. Thanks,

P.S Now the latest version of the Kirki Customizer framework (3.1.9) is installed on your site. Thanks,

Thanks. Unfortunately, it’s not coming as before. There’s also the warning that says -> Codeless Page Builder plugin requires Kirki Framework to work. Please Install!
Sharing screenshot link -> https://ibb.co/2t1yBQh
So, since it’s not installed, should I install the Kirki Framework? Also, can you please check the WooCommerce warning that some files of June theme isn’t updating? Please!

I’m again having the same issue. My website, vidbazaar.com, is not working for many hours. WordPress informs that error is with Codeless Page Builder and it was caught at wp-login.php. The error details given by them is as under:
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 3 of the file /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/codeless-page-builder/include/core/kirki-setup/codeless_custom_section.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Customize_Section’ not found in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/codeless-page-builder/include/core/kirki-setup/codeless_custom_section.php:3
Please help urgently. And why is this happening repeatedly?

As soon as I activated Codeless Page Builder just now, the website crashed again. So I had no chance of removing the plugin “Kirki Customizer Framework Old”. Can you please look into the matter once more?

Hi,
I’ve downgraded the Kirki Customizer Framework plugin and everything working properly. Also I’ve disable the auto update for the kiriki plugin. Please don’t update the plugin until next theme/plugin update. Thanks,

Hi,
The site is NOT working properly. The entire design has gone completely haywire. I don’t know what is happening. This is very unfortunate. It’s a big loss for my business just when I launched a campaign. Can you please suggest what to do? -
When will be the next updates? You’d said the same thing a month back in January beginning when the earlier crash happened.
-
Hi Azam,
I can see that you’ve changed the theme from June to WooCommerce Storefront. As a result, all the modifications I’d done with June theme are now dysfunctional. My customers are upset because of this. I contacted the host WordPress.com and they informed that both June theme and the Codeless Page Builder plugin have been creating issues. Under these circumstances, what should we do? When would everything be okay, can you give a date? Please understand the plight of users like me and our businesses because of frequent troubles with June theme. -
Hi Azam,
Shall I revert back to June child theme while NOT updating the Kirki Customizer Framework plugin? Please suggest asap. -
Hi,
Please take a backup of the site and then update the plugin “Codeless Page builder”. We’ve release a new update of the plugin yesterday.Or if you want me to update it for you please let me know. But first you’ll need to create a fresh backup of the site.
Thanks,
-
Please, if you can help that’ll be great! My site is hosted on WordPress.com and they usually take backups regularly so that won’t be problem I suppose…

It’s okay now, thanks. But the footer and sidebar are gone. I’ve to again work on them to restore them as before. Btw, can I use the backup before this present trouble started? This will save me time but I’m scared this will again crash the site. Any idea if I can do this? Also, when will the June update and Kirki update come?
-
Hi,
— Widgets issue:
Before restoring the backup please check for the in-active widgets from the Widget Area
wp-admin > Appearance > Widgets > Scroll Down there you’ll get in-active widgets.
These widgets might be the one you’ve added previously on the sidebar and footer. This might save your much more time than restoring the backup or creating sidebars from scratch.— Update:
There’s no predefined date for the update. But, we’ve released a new update of the plugin that was conflicting with Kirki (i.e Codeless Page Builder). So you don’t need to worry about that now. Thanks,
-
Thanks for the help. Since you released a new update for Codeless Page Builder, is it safe to update Kirki plugin too? Or, would it need June theme update as well?
-
-
-
Hi,
No, It’ll don’t need the June theme update. You can update the Kirki plugin but as a precaution keep the site backup in case an unfavorable thing happens. Thanks
