Vertically centering the text on the slider places the content in the top half of the slider. It does not center the content with equal margins on the top and bottom.

The content is vertically center aligned but as the header displaying on the page header that’s why it looks like the content isn’t vertically centered.

No, I mean to say that currently the content in the page header is vertically centered aligned. As the main header, displaying on front/above the page header that’s why it looks like the content is not vertically centered aligned.
