So i updated to the last version of your theme and visual composer because of editing problems. It’s for the better i thought. But suddenly I have an even bigger problem:
Suddenly I lost half years work of added projects. None of all the recent project are present. I do not get it. I just updated visual composer and the theme. What is the link between the added projects and visual composer?
All media is still in the upload folder, but all media is un-attached. It looks like only my initial projects are present, from the moment I setup the website.
Can you please help me out, I am lost and a bit panicing right now.
After successful putting back previous versions, i checked back all differences in all the files. Found out that the problem was created because i used this custom solution: https://support.codeless.co/forums/topic/specular-projects-displayed-without-pagination/. Because it could not be implemented in the child theme (normal way in every other install), it wrote over the customised file in the base-theme when updated of course.
And because the theme has it’s own custom posts, all media is “not attached” to a post, although it does.
Sorry can please be more specific? What issue do you have? The content is saved in the database, with your settings as well, so it is not affected by any theme update. If you have changed only the number of posts to display in a page (topic mentioned) then the maximum effect you would have after theme update, is getting back the pagination or only a limited number of post displayed.
Did you made any other change to theme files?
What do you mean by ‘all media is “not attached” to a post, although it does‘?
