Hi I see on envato account there is a new version for Visual Composer (4.11) while in site http://www.oltremateria.it I have 4.10 installed.
As I eredited the site from another person I am not sure the way he worked to this site. Anyway I understand visual composer is integrated in specular theme but first time I worked to this site, as I didn’t se any license activated in wp for this plugin, I bought a new licence of visual composer and inserted it in wordpress.
1) Anyway now visual compser is activated with license but it’s not cleat how to update to the last version (there is no “update” voice in wordpress\plugins\wp bakery visual composer. Which procedure should I follow?
2) If I go to specular menu in wp I see that who made this site created a Specular child 1.1.0 theme. And I also made some changes to css (both on child style.css and in main style.css)
3) I have wordpress versionj 4.4.2, should I update also wp version?
It would be a great help of you can suggest me which steps to follow to update site in this situation
All included plugins are licensed and we update them on every theme release. But the license number is not included, so you can use the current plugins without issue (they are all perfectly compatible with theme and current WP version), or if you must update, then you have to buy it yourself.
In order to update plugin from theme please read this article. The latest theme version has Wp BAkery vs 4.11.2.1 included.
Since you have already bought it, then just go to your wp-content/plugins folder and delete/rename js_composer folder. Then download the latest VC copy from your account and install it again.
