      Hello

i recently updated to the latest version of specular (i didnt notice if this problem was happening before the update) and checking over my website there are some big problems. any page that doesnt have a slider selected (in the general options at the bottom of each page) just shows a chronological list of all the blog posts and does not show the actual content of the page. i’ve never seen anything like this.

      the website in question is:

      visualabdesign.com/

here is an example of a page that displays correctly:

      https://visualabdesign.com/web-design-los-angeles/

here is a page that does not display correctly:

      https://visualabdesign.com/contact/

its the same with all the pages. Please Help! thanks in advance. (btw, i did try disabling all plugins which had no effect. let me know if you need login credentials)

Ok i think i found the problem and its stopped. Basically i set the home page in the default wordpress settings and set the blog page in the specular preferences. so i unselected the blog page in the specular preferences and set it in the wordpress settings instead and now its working correctly again. have you heard of this issue before?

      Hello,

This isn’t quite an issue. You need to setup the basic configurations first, such as selecting home page and blog in Settings > Reading. The blog page has pre-defined features that apply only if it is chosen a certain page to take the blog template.
I hope i explained myself well.
Let us know if you need further help.

      Best regards!
