I have an extra white bar that sometimes shows up below the header. The css code I previously got does not appear to be working. It usually goes away when I refresh the page, but I’d rather’s its not there at all.

The space seem to came from revolution slider, on window resize.
You have a very old version of revolution slider and theme.
Please update theme to the new version. A lot has changes in revslider since then.
